Pearl Abyss has rolled out another substantial update for Crimson Desert, keeping up its rapid schedule of new content drops. This latest patch focuses on expanding player mobility and battle variety, adding several new mounts and a handful of combat moves to the growing open-world action game.
Among the new mounts, players can now tame and ride a massive, horned beast suited for charging through enemy lines, as well as a swift, bird-like creature designed for quick traversal across the game's rugged landscapes. Each mount comes with its own handling quirks and special abilities, giving players more strategic choices when navigating the world or engaging in mounted combat.
On the combat side, the patch introduces a series of new attack chains and defensive maneuvers. These include a parry riposte that can break enemy guard formations and a charged heavy strike that sends foes flying. The update also tweaks some existing enemy AI patterns, making certain boss encounters more aggressive and unpredictable. Pearl Abyss has not indicated when the next patch will arrive, but given the current pace, players can likely expect another update within the coming weeks.
