Remedy Entertainment has revealed that its upcoming title, "Control Resonant," will be the biggest game the studio has ever created. According to lead gameplay designer Sergey Mohov, the single-player campaign alone will take players at least 50 to 60 hours to complete. That is a massive jump from the original "Control," which clocked in around 10 to 15 hours for a standard playthrough.
Mohov explained that the team wanted to deliver a deeper, more sprawling experience without sacrificing the tight, supernatural action the series is known for. The new game expands on the lore of the Federal Bureau of Control, introducing larger environments, more complex enemy types, and a story that branches based on player choices. "We are not just adding more content for the sake of it," Mohov said. "Every hour is meant to feel meaningful."
The announcement has generated significant buzz among fans, many of whom were surprised by the length. Some have wondered if the game will feel padded, but Remedy insists that the pacing has been carefully balanced. The studio has also confirmed that "Control Resonant" will include side missions and optional areas that are just as detailed as the main path.
A release date has not yet been announced, but the game is expected to launch on current-generation consoles and PC.
