Sharma, who serves as a key leader within the Xbox organization, emphasized that the team is focused on “making the right decision” for each individual game rather than applying a blanket policy. “We’re not going to rush into anything,” she stated, noting that the company is weighing factors such as player communities, developer goals, and long-term platform health. Booty echoed this sentiment, explaining that the decisions are being made on a case-by-case basis, with input from creative teams and business stakeholders.
